Help me give girls crucial media-literacy skills.

Please help me raise my goal of $500 by December 31!

“Like many young girls*, I struggled with self-confidence and body image as a teen — especially with the influx of social media. Thanks to a mentor, I started volunteering as an intern for About-Face — the organization’s work inspired me to start a club at USF called the Gender Equality Solidarity club. In addition, I became an official board member for About-Face. With this pandemic, it’s easy to see how much additional media we are consuming, and About-Face hasn’t stopped their work. Their workshops lead girls* to take on extraordinary projects and develop incredible leadership skills along the way — I’m proud to be involved.”

My goal:

Share with friends:

Five teen girls smile together.

Teen girls* need About-Face programs more than ever.

About-Face’s December 31 fundraising goal is $77,500. And right now, they have a $15,000 matching gift courtesy of an anonymous donor! Your gift will be doubled through December 11!

Our programs help girls find the power of their voices through media literacy and social justice. We’ve moved to an all-virtual model to meet U.S. girls wherever they are.

Help a teen girl see herself as the capable, wonderful person she is by donating today!
