Introduction to About-Face: Decode the Media

ONLINE, ongoing gatherings to learn more about us

Despite the strangeness and uncertainty of these times, About-Face perseveres! And our programs are even more needed now, as our device-laden teenagers are at home, many using more social media, more Netflix, more websites, than they ever have.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, or just someone who cares about teen girls*, we invite you to join us. You’ll learn the skills we teach teen girls so they can think for themselves about their always-on media environment, and the positive impact it has made for them.

Introduction to About-Face: Decode the Media
Thursday, March 26, 2020 ~ 12:30-1:30pm PST
Register here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

This is a one-hour long, free, informational gathering. (No donations will be solicited.) Some portions will be interactive, but eating your lunch or walking around your space during the call is also welcome! We will ask for your feedback after the meeting via a brief call.

Feel free to invite anyone in your circles who may be interested. Age 12 and up, please.

Our ongoing Intros are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 6-7pm, 3rd Thursday of the month from 12:30-1:30pm, and sometimes on the 2nd Sunday of the month. Please get in touch if you’d like to attend, or if you’d like to host your own!

RSVP by registering now!

* About-Face’s programs are gender-expansive. “Girls” refers to self-identified girls and non-binary youth.
