Saline breast implants are often mistakenly thought to be safer than silicone-gel breast implants because they 'only' contain saline instead of silicone gel. It is important for every woman considering augmentation with saline implants to realize that they will be exposed to the very same chemicals that women with silicone gel implants are exposed to.
